Does anyone know if any of the clients have the ability to override toggles locally? So lets say I am launching the application locally for development but I want to override the value of feature toggle that is off in the dev environment so that it is on while I am doing development. Is there is there any standard across the clients to support something like this. For example maybe using environment variables, or something?

Hi, I'm hoping to get more information on how Sample Ratio Mismatches are detected. We have experiments that are flagged as having an SRM but the displayed splits are rounded to a 10th of a percent whereas the true splits should be irrational numbers (6 variants with equal allocation of the full audience) so I'm wondering if the SRM flag has something to do with rounding that is happening before the proportions test. Hey! 👋 I need your help 🙂 Context: - the main flow of our new users: landing page → start of onboarding → registration → end of onboarding - there is a feature - config for managing screens in the onboarding flow - we conduct an experiment - two variations with splitting users by ID Problem: - when the user first lands on the landing page, he gets a “temporary” ID - this “temporary” ID goes to the MixPanel and is also used by GrowthBook to bind users to the variant - after registration on the backend, a “permanent” user ID is generated - in Mixpanel there is a merging of user data and events between “temporary” and “permanent” IDs - this works out of the box - but in GrowthBook, the user can be linked to another variant, since the id has changed - so the user can get into another variant to end onboarding, which breaks our logic and kills the value of the experiment. Is it possible to merge IDs for GrowthBook so that the user keeps the variant they started with?

Guys, need some help. I have this feature set up with 50% partial rollout. I have to redirect our users to a specific route if the feature is ON or OFF based on the rollout. The problem is that initially the feature is always OFF, then after a few moments it becomes ON. Is there a pattern to wait for the decision if the ID of the user is in the ON percentage or in the OFF percentage and after this wait then do something (in my case, redirect to a specific route)?

Are there any naming convention best practices for experiment features? Context: we are testing subscription price on upgrades. If we plan to A/B test multiple price points (not simultaneously), should we consider creating a feature for each price? E.g.

as the feature name and cross referencing our analytics data with dates we made changes to the price used in the experiment? Would it be good to add the Month/Year to the feature name too so we query our analytics more easily without having to remember/track when we did experiments?

Hi, is there a good way to conduct dimensional analysis when users can take on multiple values of the dimension? For example, the dimension is device (mobile or desktop) and some users have activity on both devices. We'd like to look at metrics by device for each user's behavior on only that device. Hi. We use GB to run A/B tests, often with many variations. Often, when developing or QAing a change, we'll want to force a specific variation to be served. Currently, we have two ways to do this: • Serve 100% of that variation on Staging environment. ◦ This is annoying because it requires that we go into GB for each change, and for larger changes when we want multiple people to review, it requires lots of coordination etc • Use incognito or multiple browsers and re-open/refresh so that we get a new user id and thus served a new version ◦ This is annoying because its non-deterministic and doesn't work if the A/B test is being run deeper into the experience I'm wondering if theres a good way / known pattern to allow for forcing a specific version without modifying the split.

Wondering how people are managing toggles in Mobile apps because of the following scenario. Let’s say you push build 1.0.0 to the App Store and release that build to the public. This build includes a Feature A (completed) and Feature B (partially complete). The team continues developing over the next two weeks and pushes build 1.1.0 to the App Store and releases it. This build includes code that completes Feature B (completed) and the beginnings of a new Feature C (partially complete). At this point in time there are some users of the app that have v1.1.0 and some that are using v1.0.0 still. How do you make sure that you don’t accidentally turn on Feature B until all the active clients are updated to version v1.1.0?

Currently the value is always true and we manually set it to false, but we will always want the default to be false, and then create rules

Hey folks! I've tried two different VPS providers to spin VMs with GrowthBook using both the latest docker image and one from a week ago from Docker Hub. I had edited docker-compose.yml to include my VM's external IP address

But I'm still getting this error 🫤 Do I need to additionally open up the 3100 port or something? Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi! I have a problem in release build of Android app, when i test debug version all work fine and I can retrieve my configuration data from feature.value field.
