Hi, I met a issue. when I try to import existing experiment from our data source. it’s not using the query I edit in the data source. it’s keep using the default experiment_viewed table. is it a bug?

A general question, our current AB test experiment report is based on different funnel metric, not single metric. like we have • step A - A amount of users • step B - B amount of users • step C - C amount of users so each step will have user dropped off. so we need to compare the drop off rate based on previous step and the experiment variation. Just curious how this can be done in Growthbook?

Hi, I met a issue about self-hosted, it shows CORS error when open the login page as it try to connect to the 3100 port which is different than our domain name and default 443 port. So wondering if there is any config that can allow multiple origin name to bypass the CORS error? Or is the 3000 and 3100 serve totally separate path, then I can add rule to route the request in our Cloudfront config

Hi folks, we’re trying to setup our first metric and kick the tires on growthbook. Our particular integration is going to use BQ. None of our columns are INT so we get an error on the SUM when trying to configure the metric. All our columns are string or timestamp. Is this a situation you’ve run into before and can provide some guidance on? Basically we want this metric to measure against the total number of event clicks on a button.

metrics are just "any other defined metric"? Would this be a bad experiment design? Similarly, could I select a metric and see the effect of all experiments on this metric? (even though the metric was not selected as primary metric in the experiment). I feel that this would cater for any negative side effects of an experiment. (edited)

Hey all 👋 looking for some guidance on a segment + snowflake best practices. Segment recommends setting up QA and Production apps as different sources, and this results in one schema per application+environment combination when the data ends up in Snowflake. Growthbook appears to require the schema info to connect to a data source, so we ended up with 4 total data sources (Prod/QA and Frontend/Backend split). We've found that this doesn't play very well with features, for example - creating a/b experiment overrides end up tied to a single Datasource for prod and qa. Is there a better way to think about organizing our data? We've also considered creating views to consolidate prod and qa schemas into single ones, though I don't believe this solves the issue about experiment override creation. Perhaps views by application are better?

I have a list of 50k users, and I wish to determine their experiment variations using a single (or anything less than 50k) network requests. I've been reading through the documentation, but haven't seen any hints at this.

Hi, we are working through an issue where we are showing 1300 events for a metric in the "metrics" view but only seeing ~250 events across the control and variant in the results tab of an experiment. We're running the experiment globally. Does anyone have any ideas as to why we might not be seeing all 1300 events tied to the experiment?

How do folks typically handle Segment setting

We're loading both libraries as part of our NextJS app, and there appears to be a race condition in the segment sdk and growthbook initializing for first time visitors. It takes some time for the anonymous id to be generated, so we've been manually generating one at the time of the Growthbook initialization to make sure it's set, and then setting the anonymous id manually for analytics.js as well.

Hello all, i was looking into growth book and the possible functionality it can provide for me to do API integration with this one. I have seen in the documentation that it is possible, but it is very concise to start with. Is there any way to perform AB testing using growthbook for data stored in some data source and being fetched using some API? consider a example, I was to see the variation in the sales when a product is being sold at different prices like one a 100 and another at 110.? Since this data will be fetched from database using some API, will it be possible to perform such testing using growthbook, if yes is there any documentation / guide where adding API for the features is provided!! Hey guys! Just reviewing GB to see if it’s something I’d be interested in adopting for feature flags. I have looked in the js and react sdk and haven’t found a way to “subscribe” or “refresh” the current state of features. Is this something we would have to roll on our own using polling? I played with the webhook feature and that works great if your features only exist in a single service with an webhook endpoint but nothing for other services or react. Any ideas or nudges in the right direction would be greatly appreciated. If polling would be the only way, please let me know there as well.
