Hi all! I have issues with accessing the API on port 3100 and I'm not sure what could be the possible cause for that because it was working in dev environment. When I run docker-compose up I get this message:
growthbook_1 | | /usr/local/src/app/packages/back-end/dist/util/secrets.js:49
growthbook_1  |  |     throw new Error("Cannot use JWT_SECRET=dev in production. Please set to a long random string.");
growthbook_1 | | ^
growthbook_1 | |
growthbook_1 | | Error: Cannot use JWT_SECRET=dev in production. Please set to a long random string.
I haven't notice it before and currently that is the only thing that I found weird. Do you know if this could be a reason for not being able to access api. Here is the screenshot from UI also:

Hey guys, I am experimenting with GrowthBook for feature flag experiments on android, and I seem to have hit a roadblock. I have created a feature, set up an experiment that affects all users, split them by
id
, 50%-50%, and whatever I do, I only seem to be able to receive
defaultValue
, instead of the expected overrides (all the users are included in the experiment). Details in thread, do I miss something?

Is it possible to exclude users from the experiment (not just metrics). We want to include only new users but we don't know if they are new until they log in. Can we at that point somehow exclude the ones that are not new?

HI, I have pull the latest growthbook image and deployed on AWS ECS behind the loadbalancer as usual. right now ALB Target group health check fails for growthbook API. Therefore, The container is terminated by target groups. Is there are any proper health check path for growthbook API path that return 200 as status code? After deploying. Growthbook APP - health check pass running on 3000 port Growthbook API_HOST - Health check fail for port 3100

Hi! I’m new to Growthbook and I’m trying to set up the Visual Editor using Google Tag Manager (we chose GTM as we will use this for marketing landing page experiments and we want to install it without help from devs - at least for now). I have a couple questions about the setup: 1. I created a new Javascript SDK Connection and added the Pre-built Script Tag in GTM (as the documentation indicates). The tag is fired when the page loads and the
gbuuid
cookie is set in visitors’ browsers as expected. However, the SDK connection says that the Growthbook API is not connected to my app. Is there anything else I need to do in GTM to make the connection work? 2. How can I send conversion events from GTM to Growthbook? Ideally I would like to have a “Growthbook conversion tag” that I could trigger from GTM to send a conversion event to Growthbook every time the user performs a desired action (signup, visit to some specific page, …). Is it possible to do this in Growthbook? Thanks in advance :)

Hi all 👋 I am setting up an A/B Test with the visual editor and wanted to ask for some advice. My task: include a new image element on the page (fairly simple). Where I ran into issues, is when I adjust a section (div) to add the HTML for the image block, the whole section is getting selected and replaced in other language variants. What I would need is a simple “add HTML” option somewhere in the visual editor UI, but from what I could see this is only possible for CSS and JS globally. Does anyone have a suggestion?

Hi there, I'm running into an issue getting sticky bucketing/fallback attributes to work as per the documentation and need some help identifying if this is a bug/implementation issue or a misunderstanding. For context, I want to ensure that a user who initially sees a variation when logged out will continue to see that variation when they log in. Based on this documentation I believe I can achieve that by supplying a fallbackAttribute when the user is logged out and then providing the same fallbackAttribute with a hashAttribute when the user logs in. But when I implement this users are still seeing a different variation when logged in versus logged out, here's a loom demoing the issue: https://www.loom.com/share/bdc9d2e0ae1341029238d421433f39b6 So, have I understood this correctly, or is a different implementation required to persist variations when a user goes from logged out to logged in? Our implementation details: • Vue2 using the GrowthBookVuePlugin and LocalStorageStickyBucketService • StickyBucketing & Fallback Attribute are enabled in settings and the Fallback attribute is enabled on the experiment (confirmed working in loom above) • hashAttribute is id and fallbackAttribute is device_id ◦ *id i*s only provided when users are logged in, device_id is always sent

When using GA4 data through BigQuery, is it possible to include data from the intraday event tables when evaluating experiments so we don’t have to wait for the daily event tables to update? I think it’s as simple as changing the
events_
tables in the experiment queries to
events_intraday_
, but not sure if that’s possible.
