if your product is getting significant traffic, you don’t want to do a self DoS on your warehouse. Plus ideally the event call returns instantly and has eventual consistency on the database so that your users are not impacted by the event tracking. Event trackers are high performance and will queue up requests for periodic batch inserting into your data warehouse.
