Hi GB Team
We are evaluating cube.js as a metric serving layer in my organization. Is there a way that I can read the metrics that are defined inside cube.js into Growthbook and use them out of the box?

Hi Vivek, I'm not familiar with Cube.js.
Are you wanting to use GrowthBook to analyze data that is stored within Cube.js?
If you can interact with Cube.js using SQL, you could create a Custom Data Source within GrowthBook:

So I am trying to define the metrics inside cube.js.
I want to leverage the metrics defined inside cube in Growthbook. How do I do that?

Hi, are you saying that you want to import metrics from Cube.js into the GrowthBook dashboard, instead of using GrowthBook to send experiment data into a datasource like GA4 or Clickhouse etc.?
We do offer the ability to connect a custom data source, but that requires writing some SQL so that GrowthBook can fetch your experiment data.
Most of our customers use our statistics engine to generate metrics within GrowthBook based on the experiment data. There isn't a way to import metrics, just experiment data via SQL queries to your data source.

Yes August. I would like to have a central metric definition layer. I would have liked that Growthbook should be able to leverage it.
