Chrome is moving towards a new experience that allows users to choose to browse without third-party cookies.

could this affect growthbook or our usage of it? normal feature flags and experiments?

You can use whatever cookie or store for identity you like. If you're using the HTML SDK which can create a cookie - that would be considered a first party cookie, since its only used for your site and the domain will be yours. So this change should not effect GrowthBook at all
