Alright... upon further investigation I found that I need to configure the experiment assignment queries in the datasource to match my custom event name for tracking the event and also to use the slightly different named values experimentId and variationId (instead of experiment_id and variation_id). Now I get kind of a result, but one issue still persists, the variation ids seem to be missing (see warning in screenshot)
