Hi! Could you please explain how auto slices work?

I see that numerator is ok, but denominator isn't. The screenshots are in the thread

Metric slices apply a filter to both the numerator and the denominator, while it looks like your manual slices on a ratio metric are only applying to a numerator.

manually sliced = i've created 6 metrics with the same condition (numerator changed, denominator isn't)

now it's clear about denominator. is it possible add option to apply slices to specific part of metric? i.e. only for numerator

i want analyze distribution in metric, and "manually sliced" result looks as more convenient way to do it

Still don't understand how to use auto-sliced metrics.

Here's an example involving a retention metric. It's incorrect because the denominator includes the total number of users, when it should only include those who meet the slice criteria.
