Hey guys, I want to run a new A/B test, on a new set of users because the first test had some confounding factors, using the same tracking key. However I get a “duplicate tracking key” error. Am I not able to add a new experiment using the same tracking key?
and if not, how should I do this?

hi Ilya - did you make a new phase of the experiment?

The one thing I want to avoid is mixing the data from the first run of the experiment with this 2nd run
should I do this as a new phase?

Yes, phases will work for this.

ahh ok it’s “configure analysis”

configure analysis will let you change the date
but if you want to exclude previous users, you need to do a phase
you can click on that traffic split area to create a new phase

Do I need to press “Reset to draft” first? I’m not seeing that button?

Oh, if you already stopped the experiment, yes, press "reset to draft" and then start the experiment again.
we're redoing the whole phases UI and process soon. It's very unintuitive right now

thanks for clarifying
i mean it’s not too bad, i wouldn’t say “very unintuitive”
