08/17/2023, 3:52 PMNote, we're not self-hosted GB, so can't use the discovery metrics method.I don't think this is a problem? If you selected GA4 when Adding a datasource the "Discover Metrics" button should exist on the Metrics section of your Data Source page.

08/18/2023, 8:14 AM@helpful-application-7107 it seems your documentation says metric auto discovery is only available when self hosting....Maybe we miss-read, and we could always re-try once our BQ events_ table is up.
The Discover Metrics button does exist, but it produced an error. Our dev said:
Growthbook documentation says - "Auto-discovery from environment variables or GCP metadata (only available when self-hosting)
We aren't using Self-hosting

I'd be happy to help you out with the auto-metrics error if you could share the error message you got. But yeah if the daily events table isn't there then I think our auto-metrics will fail.
