We stopped a test 4 days ago and it's still being sent to the users

Hi Pedro, I’m looking into this for you and will reply here shortly

Ok!
b
Hi Pedro, did you create the test in the Visual Editor or via Feature Flags in the dashboard?
s
Via feature flags

Which SDK and SDK version are you using?
Is it possible you are using the temporary rollout option accidentally?
Are you using the GrowthBook proxy?
If the answers to my 2 most recent questions are "no", it's likely you are experiencing a bug we are aware of and for which we're currently working on fixing. Some changes to experiments are not causing our SDK payloads to refresh properly, so people are continuing to get experiments after they've been stopped in the GrowthBook UI.

We did not use the temporary rollout and we are neither using the proxy
so people are continuing to get experiments after they've been stopped in the GrowthBook UI.
This happened with me in the last week https://growthbookusers.slack.com/archives/C01T6Q1SVFV/p1698352897260009
We really need to stop this test (as we thought it was finished 4 days ago). I tried turning off the feature for the production environment but its still evaluating the value. Is there any other action that we can do?
b
Hi Pedro, I totally understand. Please remove the experiment rule from the feature and publish.

After spending some more time debugging I found what was happening. A duplicate of a test in our staging project was firing into the production project
We may have some kind of misconfiguration in our projects setup

Hi Pedro, I'm glad to hear you were able to identify the cause of the issue! If after troubleshooting you find you still need help, please let us know.

I think this issue can be closed. I will elaborate some questions to ask here later about setting up different projects within the same website
Thank you, August 🙂

Sure thing, I’ll close the ticket. Thank you Pedro!
