Hey GB! Been going through the documentation and still having issues with “Experiment Assignment Queries” and “Metrics”. We connected GB to RedShift and created a brand new schema specific for it. We believe “Metrics” is working fine as we wrote a query to access our purchase events from a different schema in RedShift and was able to see data. However, still confused with the how `Experiment Assignment Queries” should work. We left the standard query in there and just replaced the placeholder names with ones from our actual table. This errors out because it is empty. That’s to be expected because there is no data. Is GB writing data to that new schema or should we be connecting it to an existing schema?

Hi Marc, thanks for reaching out! The background info you provided is super helpful. GrowthBook purposely doesn't write data, we only read it. That's for data privacy and security reasons, among others. So, your application code would need to write the data to the appropriate data store. Does that answer your question?
If you want to send some screenshots of the Experiment Assignment Query and the GrowthBook-related code in your app, we can take a look.
