For self-hosting GrowthBook, MongoDB is required for storing internal data (experiments, feature flags, screenshots, rules, etc.), but PostgreSQL can be used as a data source for analysis purposes.
Adding Postgres support to replace MongoDB is on our radar, but we don't have a timeline for building this yet.
