Hey folks, checking in to see if a feature is available yet - we want to track experiment progress against northstar metrics. So I want to see how much northstar metric is affected by each experiment. For instance, metric A is affected by experiment 1 by 5%. Is this available yet? I see a 'North Star' metrics section in the settings tab but I can't figure out how to use it
f
that feature is available, but perhaps not exactly how you want it
you can add a metric as a north star, then go to your dashboard to see it
Management -> dashboard

Gotcha. Thanks for the quick response. My team is looking to keep track of MAU/WAU from GA4, but we have a huge amount of data. We generally store these figures in an aggregated tables. Can we reference those aggregated tables in our metric definition queries and not be beholden to the required columns?

In addition to the northstar metric display, we also have a feature coming out soon called Impact Analysis. It aims to show you the cumulative effect of each experiment on any metric (north star or otherwise). More to come on this soon
f
we may have to make some changes to support a metric which is not directly used in each experiment

Could I set up these metrics with corresponding queries one time and then select them as measurable metrics for each experiment?
f
yes, that's how it currently works - the northstar metric you choose, will show you all the experiments which have included that metric as one of the experiment goals
