@here does anyone know if for redirect tests, Growth Book maitains the variant that a user is in within the same session? Example: We are testing two different PDP's one with modification and one without, but we are concerned that once a user goes to one PDP and then navigates elsewhere on the site then they will get the original version and not the variant and therefore messing up the data. Anyone has experimented this issue?

Yes, the user will always get the same variant as long as the user attribute you're targeting is the same (which is usually is) - so if the user visits the target URL again, at any point while the experiment is running, they will be redirected to the variant URL.
