Hey, we're in the process of implementation on https://www.prusa3d.com/. We are not sure about the tracking part. Namely: 1. What do we need to implement to our existing events (such as Purchase, Add To Cart, etc.?) 2. Why do we need the new event "ExperimentViewed"?
Do we need to implement this whole block to our existing events? Why?

Hi @refined-tiger-85854 I recommend connecting you GA4 to Google BigQuery and then do the GB BQ integration. The Experiment Viewed happens when the tracking callback is fired. This is pushed to the datalayer. In GTM you need to setup some tags/variables to get the information in GA4. In the tracking call back the experiment ID and variation ID is stored which is then availabel on a user level in GA4 this is needed for GB to measure the number of visitors in the experiment.

Like this.
Only we changed the name of the event to gb_view_experiment.

You do need to track which users were exposed to an experiment and what variation they got- but the other things are not needed.

Thank you, we will try this approach.
