I'm running an experiment, but the metric isn’t reporting conversions for the experiment I created. Snowflake is our data source. Conversions are tracking correctly in the metrics tab. Could you advise on how to ensure the data flows correctly into the Growthbook UI? We've encountered this issue recently, even though Growthbook has worked successfully for past campaigns.

Hi - experiments are a join of two user adjustable query’s- the metric query and the assignment query
You need to first find out which one isn’t working
i
I'm receiving the experiment data in snowflake
but it's not flowing back into the UI
f
If you go to the experiment page, you can view the full query that we’re generating
Can you confirm that the assignment query are returning rows for that experiment name?
i
Yes, the assignment query does return rows for the specified experiment name
f
Okay
Does the metric have the same randomization unit as the experiment?
i
ah they do appear to differ
f
Okay, in that case we’ll use the join query defined in the data source page
i
do you have a link to that
f
I don’t- but if you go to your data source, it should be the first or second box
i
i see, thank you
from there, this should be resolved?
f
It should be, if you’re sure that there are users who have done that metric event after being exposed to the experiment
You could also adjust the metric to have that randomization unit if that’s available
