Bumping, I would like to know if the feature was removed from free plan intentionally, because it made it harder for us to quantify whether a specific user gets which FF value.

I did a bit of digging here. It looks like feature simulation was always slated to be a paid feature, but was available in prior versions while simulation was still in beta. Apologies about the bumpy transition. If you're looking for a very similar experience you can use our Chrome/Firefox DevTools extension to live view and simulate users. You can also preview feature drafts and prior revisions using the browser extension.
