Hey GB team, I am trying to understand what is the criteria behind the message: Chance to Win (not enough data) As you can see in the screenshot below, I have two metrics with a 7D conversions window. One shows significance, the other doesn't. Could someone please help me understand what could have gone wrong here? More on thread ๐Ÿงต

The metric has this setup (which has not been stated into our metrics.yml file)
This is our General Metrics Settings
First question: Why does this metric randomly decided to setup a min numerator of 150, when the account is setup to 100?
s
Hi Heber, I am a data scientist at GrowthBook. Are you saying that you have overridden the default
Minimum Metric Total
of 150 at the organizational level, and this override has not propagated through to the metric level, as evidenced by the
15,000%
value on the
Advanced Settings
modal?
If the org-level override is in effect, then once the
Variation
group has one more conversion, you should see results on the
%Assigned -> Converted
metric.

Hey @steep-dog-1694, no I haven't overridden any value for the Minimum Metric Total. I just find it weird that my org-level setup has 100 and the metric is expecting a random value of 150
b
Hey @steep-dog-1694, any suggestion here?
s
Sorry for the delay. Did you change the org-level setting from 150 to 100?
b
@steep-dog-1694 I might have changed from 150 to 100 some time ago, not sure about that (afaik this event is not recorded in logs). The weird thing is that it's not propagating automatically to the metrics while I believe it should. Are we reading things right?
s
You are reading this right, and this behavior is not ideal. We are considering different fixes. Thanks for surfacing.
