Hi! I have a question regarding this part of documentation

We have many environments (prod, stage, about 50 dev boxes) that need to be completely independent. This means we need to be able to deploy GrowthBook separately for each environment (and for dev boxes — about 50 times in total). We need to understand how this would affect the cost, if at all.

I'm not sure I understand your use case exactly. Are you saying you want to deploy 50 independent instances of GrowthBook? Or that you want to set up 50 environments within GrowthBook?

I will try to clarify, still might be not enough, coz I’m trying to tell what my backend colleagues are asking 🙂 So, I understand, that I can scale instances with GrowthBook But, I am asking about separate installations on 50 independent environments (we call it dev-boxes) These dev-boxes are used mainly to test features, debug, etc. Sort of a stage, but little more complex Can we use the same licence key among those installations? On the other hand, I think we could go with free tier installations, but I assume this tier may lack of several features we need.

I'll have to check on the licensing, but I don't understand why you're deploying GrowthBook (the app) on 50 different environments/boxes. Are you able to say more about what you're trying to accomplish?

Well, we really have separate dev boxes for tests, sometimes up to 50. And usually we need them to test different complex features, including architectural changes. So we need those features like feature toggling, traffic split, etc. to be separate from other boxes, that implies using separate growthbook installation. Basically we don’t plan to use growthbook for gaining profit from those extra installations, still wondering, won’t we break any part of agreement, or simply can we re-use same licence key

Checked. You can re-use the license on these dev instances. We dedupe users when checking, so as long as you're not creating more users than seats, you'll be good.
