I'm setting a Java SDK for GrowthBook, but not able to proceed further in the setup steps as it shows not connected here. Any idea why this is happening?

That's expected (if not the best experience). You can click Skip to continue. It's basically saying that it can't reach your codebase at the moment. Once you add the SDK to the codebase and run it, you should see that turn to connected.
