@future-teacher-7046 @better-magician-65629 @proud-baker-47556 Hello Everyone, All of sudden our CDN requests increased to millions, without any deployment? What could be possible reason? We have checked, there is no multiple initialisations Our current implementation is we are using growthbook as provider to openfeature. BackgroundSync : true This spike started on 27 Oct, and from IOS only, Investigating but didn't find anything. Its urgent as billing is increasing
f
What SDK are you using? And for billing, we can cancel any charges that result from this, so don't worry about that right now
c
IOS Sdk
1.0.71
f
That version is a few months old. I know we improved some caching issues since then, so that might possibly be the cause.

We currently use GrowthBook SDKs across iOS, Android, Next.js, and PHP. After reaching out to GrowthBook support, we were informed of a significant spike in CDN usage coming specifically from the iOS SDK. Since nothing has changed on our end, we’re trying to understand the cause of this issue and how to resolve it. At this stage, we have no visibility into what’s driving the spike, especially given that our ongoing iOS app debugging shows no unusual traffic activity.
f
Ok, let's continue this on the support thread you have already since it will be easier for us to debug account-specific issues with you. Since this spike is accidental, I'll make sure we refund charges from October and give you credit for any charges accrued in November

@future-teacher-7046 Thank you, For now, I am updating the SDK to latest and sending the hotfix

@future-teacher-7046 We’re about to release a new build that includes an updated SDK version. However, given the nature of iOS releases, it will take some time before it reaches our full user base. Since the current CDN traffic remains unusually high compared to our actual app traffic, we’d like to understand what steps we can take in the meantime to resolve this. The issue started around October 27, and our October invoice was already 5× higher than usual. Could you please advise on what to expect for November and how we can prevent further overages?
