I was wondering if someone could help me understand why I don't get this option in my GB account:

The discover metrics depends on what you've selected when you setup the data source. For some data source types we know what to expect for the data, and we can suggest you some metrics you probably want. For custom data sources, or ones we're less familiar with, its harder to make those assumptions

Are the "discover metrics" feature on a special plan or is it available for all types of pricing plans?
What type of data sources are easier for GB to suggest metrics - I think we are connected with Big Query and GA4
