hi GB team, I want to use redshift as a data source.
However, I have some doubts.
I use redshift serverless but it is only active for one hour a day. Would it be useful for growthBook?
does growthBook use the data source at all times? I understand that you do not keep a copy, you have a data cache in your cloud, right?

Hi Dilver. That should work for the most part. Once everything is set up, GrowthBook refreshes experiment results on a schedule. You can configure that via the Settings page with a Cron expression so it will run once a day during that hour.
The part that might be a little trickier is the initial setup. It's useful to be able to run ad-hoc queries from the GrowthBook UI to make sure all the metrics you are adding are returning the data you expect.
There also may be times when you want to manually refresh an experiment result (e.g. if you add a new metric) and that will fail if the server is not running.
