Hello team, I've been exploring Growthbook and I'm trying to figure out the process for migrating features between the cloud and self-hosted versions. I've run some tests using the config.yml, but it seems the features aren't importing as expected. Has anyone successfully managed this transition? Any insights or tips on the best way to go about it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Hi Andre, your request is in our support queue and we'll send an update as soon as we can. Could you send some screenshots or copy-paste the relevant parts of the config.yml file? A screenshot of the features section in both of your instances would probably help, too

Hello, thank you for the response. What is happening is that I need to migrate the features from one instance of GrowthBook to another, and they are not being exported in the config.yaml file.

Ah, OK. Let me check with the team about what the expected info is in the config.yml file.

Hi Andre, I did some digging and learned that the config.yml export file doesn't contain information about features: https://docs.growthbook.io/self-host/config What you might be able to do instead is harvest your feature data from the cloud-hosted instance using our API, and seed it into your self-hosted instance using the API as well. https://docs.growthbook.io/api#tag/features https://docs.growthbook.io/api#tag/Feature_model
